The monolithic grindcore pioneer has been a band for over 25 years. Originally hailing from Orange County, California - a less-than-favorable locale for punks as Orange County is often stigmatized by white supremacists and affluent teenagers (as portrayed by the popular television drama The OC) - PHOBIA now spreads its grindy, crusty, anti-establishment self across the United States from Phoenix, AZ to Austin, TX.
This release is housed in a thick digipak with 4 discs (147 tracks; over 4 hours of music), external booklet with tons of posters, pictures, info and slipcase/O-card.

Washington DC to nie tylko jedna z kolebek amerykańskiej sceny HC, ale również miejsce w którym na przestrzeni kolejnych 35 lat pojawiały się wyśmienite zespoły, które podtrzymywały wysoką reputację lokalnej sceny. Protester pojawił się nieśmiało jako jednoosobowy projekt, który szybko przerodził się w zespół z prawdziwego zdarzenia i z miejsca stał się jednym z faworytów współczesnej sceny USHC, dzięki swemu surowemu, agresywnemu brzmieniu inspirowanego dokonaniami Confront, Brotherhood, SSD czy wczesnego Agnostic Front. Przygotowana z okazji nadchodzącej europejskiej trasy płyta zawiera nagrania z pierwszego okresu działalności zespołu - demo, z pierwszego singla, limitowanej promo kasety oraz kasetowej kompilacji "The Red Line". Łącznie 15 numerów, w tym covery Last Rights i Agnostic Front.
W czerwcu Protester wystąpi na jedynym koncercie w Polsce (Częstochowa)

Washington DC is not only one of the places where USHC started , but also a place where over the next 35 years there were outstanding bands that kept the high reputation of the local scene. Protester appeared out of this vibrant local scene, firstly as a one-man project, which quickly turned into a real band and immadietely become one of the best and hard hitting bands we could hear.
These guys know their history and brought elements of early Boston, NYC, DCHC and late'80's Clevo or Seattle to their sound (think Confront , Brotherhood , SSD or early Agnostic Front) but they were smart enough to avoid the "retro" tag and smart enough again to make it sounding like it's now but being far from polished, overproduced and pleasant sounding. Thisrelease documents the first period of the band and it's coming out to support their European tour with Red Death (May/June). It contain 15songs (incl. Last Rights and Agnostic Front covers) that originally were released on demo tape, first 7", limited promo tape and "The Red Line" tape comp so everything right before their "No identity" 7" on Triple B records.
